Shipping and Returns Policy

 

Our priority is to get  your feeder roaches to you as healthy as possible. So we follow a few simple practices to make sure that your pet's food arrives as quickly and safely as possible.

  1. We ship Monday through Wednesday only to ensure that insects do not sit in shipping depots or on trucks over the weekend. 
  2. We ship FedEx only. We no longer ship via USPS because of industry-wide problems with delays and loss. 
  3. We encourage customers to have the roaches held at the FedEx hub so that they do not ride around on heated or cold trucks for several hours. 
  4. We ship only when temperatures are between 45 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit mt our end and yours.  This means there will be several weeks during the winter and during the summer that we will be unable to ship. Your order will be shipped at the first safe weather window and you will be contacted for your approval of the ship date. 

 

Conditions For Live Arrival and Replacement Guarantee:

1. Shipment must include a heat pack when temperatures are below 45 degrees.  It is the customer's obligation to check their local weather and purchase a heat pack if needed.

2. Dubias must be Held for Pickup at your local FedEx hub or signed for at your home, regardless of weather..

3. Dubias must be picked up at the hub the same business day

4. We ship only when our overnight temperatures are above freezing and below 90 degrees at our end and yours. 

Please be flexible on your ship date. 

5.  If there is a problem with your order upon arrival, including excessive roach deaths, you must inform us and send pictures within 1 hour of receiving your package as indicated by the time the package was signed.  Email pictures to: DevonshiredragonsOH@gmail.com

6.  Lost shipments, and shipments that have excessive numbers of dead Dubias, will be replaced at our discretion .  Please keep in mind that all orders contain 10% more than insects by weight than ordered to compensate for normal numbers of shipping casualties. We do not refund the purchase price, we replace the insects ONE TIME.  We will not replace shipments for orders with incorrect addresses submitted or if you have ordered the incorrect size.  Please check the pictures of our sizes in the "Feeders" section to ensure that you are ordering the size you need.  We are happy to answer any questions about roach sizing before you order.
